The skills practiced in the class will be: making predictions, examining story details, retelling, story elements, characters, problems and solutions, themes, favorite parts, making connections, and vocabulary. If time allows, we will read Charlotte’s Web and The BFG.  Other picture books like The Lock Mess Monster, The Colors of Us, The Giving Tree, Curious George, and more will be read and explored. Homework will involve reading and sharing with the class what they have read.  
 
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
