What tools and skills would you like to help feel safer and gain the confidence to handle challenging situations? As a 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo, owning my private studio for 15 years, and working with my husband (who is a police officer) to present safety seminars throughout the area for many years, I am excited to share skills, tips, and education with all those interested.

Once students are signed up, I will tailor much of the curriculum to the concerns and needs of the parents and students participating. Based on your input, we will practice basic self-defense strategies and techniques (only on targets) and discuss various other vital topics, including awareness, confidence, internet use, stores, cars, communication, red flags, etc. You must wear comfortable clothes that can stretch and shoes that can be removed.

Supplies Needed: Any notebook, composition book, or binder with paper to take notes of things to remember or practice at home.

*** I have a strict rule that if a student practices any physical technique taught in class on another human or animal without adult consent, they will attend the following class without being allowed to participate.

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
