Recruits, prepare yourselves for brick-built mayhem! In this class, we will develop critical thinking skills, cooperation, and risk analysis while unleashing our creativity to enact mock tabletop battles using LEGO. Lessons will include wargame stat writing and etiquette, creative worldbuilding/storytelling, and real-world military tactics, all taught through the BrikWars wargaming system. Most in-class materials will be provided, and personal minifigs are always welcome. As tabletop wargaming takes a fair amount of patience, students must be able to focus through rules and explanations.
If you enjoy strategy, socializing, and screen-free fun, this class is for you!
Note: There will be a few optional field trips to the LEGO Store (which will require a small materials fee), where we will play out an entire battle.
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
