Welcome to Learning Literature!
We all need to feed our minds with good literature at some point in our lives, and in this class, we will be doing just that! We will go through Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice in the first semester. Not only will we be reading the book, but we will also dive into a deeper study of that time period and learn what it was like to live in the early 19th century in England. In the second semester, we will explore Johann David Wyss’ well-known book, The Swiss Family Robinson. Each semester, the students will expand their vocabulary and writing skills and enjoy art projects. Exploring the world of literature can boost our creativity and help us as we learn and grow!
**Supplies Needed:
One inch three ringed binder with a clear-view cover (for personalization)
Pride and Prejudice (unabridged)
The Swiss Family Robinson
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
