How do you capture a scene within a single picture? That is the question we will be tackling in this class. Students will learn about how pictures really are worth 1000 words. Students will have a chance to illustrate in various ways from illustrating a movie poster to illustrating the concept of wonder. This class will be a project based class. In this class students will also learn about different illustrators and how each illustrator has their own distinct style. In this class it is the hope that each student also recognizes their own style of illustrating as well. 
 
Materials: Sketchbook (9”x12”), pencil, eraser, ballpoint pen
 
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
