Whether this is your student’s first time taking a dance class, or if they are a seasoned dancer, come join us to learn all about one of Hawaii’s most well known dance forms, Hula!
Hula Dance is a class for both girls and boys to learn how to move gracefully, but also with control. We will learn about the two different styles of Hula: Auana and Kahiko. Students will learn the different Hula moves, and eventually they will learn different dance routines.
Materials:
- exercise clothing (girls can wear a long flowy skirt to class; girls may also wear a pa'u which is the traditional skirt worn in hula)
All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
