We will explore and engage in lessons all about the Ancient Civilizations. We will study and analyze these early civilizations' geographic, political, economic, religious, and social structures. We will explore places like Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, India, China, etc. We will discuss these different cultures and how they have impacted the world today. We will learn how their innovations helped shape government, the arts, speaking and writing, agriculture, and many more. We will discuss how the emergence of cities helped produce centers of culture and power, how humans had to adapt to various environments over time, and how that
affected our growing world. We will look at significant events, turning points, and how they shaped our history.
Students will gain a global perspective and an understanding of people and their cultures. We will work on fun projects designed to motivate your child to learn more about how they can relate to the past and the present. We will play fun games, do in-class activities and crafts, and make history come alive. Learning history has never been so fun!!
