In this dynamic and engaging course, students will embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Through the exploration of two seminal works, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens" by Sean Covey and "Growth Mindset for Teens" by Mary Cay Ricci, students will cultivate essential skills and mindsets necessary for success both in and out of the classroom.

Drawing upon Stephen Covey's groundbreaking principles, students will delve into the seven habits that empower individuals to take control of their lives and achieve their goals. From proactive problem-solving to prioritizing tasks effectively, students will learn practical strategies for enhancing their personal effectiveness and leadership potential. Through interactive discussions, activities, and real-life applications, students will develop the habits that lay the foundation for a fulfilling and purpose-driven life.

Building upon this foundation, students will explore the concept of growth mindset as outlined by Carol Dweck. They will discover how their beliefs about intelligence and learning impact their academic performance and personal development. By cultivating a growth mindset, students will learn to embrace challenges, persist through setbacks, and harness the power of effort and resilience to achieve their aspirations. Through reflective exercises and experiential learning opportunities, students will cultivate a mindset that fosters continuous growth and learning.

All classes are full-year classes. Students enrolled in a Fall Semester class will automatically enroll for the Spring Semester in December to ensure their place in the class. Pricing is per semester.
